BIOFACH – Nuremberg, Germany 14-17 February 2018
Organic is more than a label or a certification: organic is synonymous with quality and conviction – for the responsible use of natural resources. That is why Martino joined 2,950 exhibitors and over 40,000 visitors from the national and international organic sector at BIOFACH in Nuremberg The world’s leading trade fair for organic food.
CIBUS – Parma, 7/10 May 2018
Martino was present in the 19th version of CIBUS. With a participation of more than 3000 food companies and about 82,000 visitors Cibus, the International Food Exhibition, is a reference event for Italian agro-food. The conferences and workshops during the event examine issues connected with the future of the agri-food sector, and attract more than 1000 journalists and media representatives.
PLMA – Amsterdam, 29 – 30 May 2018
The 2018 edition of PLMA’s “World of Private Label” international fair was held at the RAI exhibition center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and was attended by over 2,500 companies. Among the food products on display was also Martino Couscous a true representative of the Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.
Marca – Bologna, 17 – 18 January 2018
Marca the International Trade Show for Distributor Brand products, organized by BolognaFiere i is the only Italian event entirely dedicated to the commercial brands. It is widely recognize for its excellence and value to the sector. Martino joined Marca this year and was there building relationships, and contributing to workshops and debates.
Primi d’Italia the first and only National Festival of Primi Piatti
Pasta, rice, soups, gnocchi, polenta but also the agro-alimentary products essential for the creation of a tasty first, are the protagonists of the most appetizing culinary marathon in Italy.
Martino is joining this event that dresses up the entire historic center of Foligno, promoting the culture of the first course at the table.
Organizing DegustiCous – Termoli, 19 – 22 July
DegustiCous is the festival of Italian couscous, and will be held in Termoli from 19 to 22 July 2018. The festival wants to celebrate the couscous, this healthy and versatile food, thousands years old food. Four days of excellent food, music, entertainment, sport, culture and fun that will bring together families, young people, children, athletes and food lovers.
The exceptional ambassador of the festival will be Chef Cristina Bowerman a multi-talented chef who holds a Michelin star. After many years abroad in the United States, she has returned to Italy, to inspire a new generation of female chefs and to lead a modern era in the Italian cuisine. Chef Christina believes that food is how people approach and celebrate life and it gives women a way to reach equality. That is why we are proud to have a visionary such as Chef Cristina as the main ambassador of DegustiCous.

This year Martino has partnered up with La7 to support the televisions show “Cuochi e Fiamme” where chefs are competing to create delicious dishes some of them featuring our excellent Couscous. Moreover, Martino is collaborating with the Italian radio RDS which is also taking part and supporting the DegustiCous Festival.
