Have you eaten too much? Do you want to cleanse yourself quickly and kick-start your metabolism with wholesome products without sacrificing taste? Today we have a recipe for you that combines fat-burning but super nutritious ingredients. The recipe for the couscous truffles with apples, lime and ginger is by our food blogger Dalila Putignano.

Ingredients

  • 150g of couscous
  • 150g warm water
  • 150 g spreadable cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Pistachio granules
  • 2 stalks of white celery
  • 1 green apple
  • Ginger
  • 2 lime
  • 1 unripe banana
  • mint

Procedure

Coarsely chop the apple and celery. Put everything in the blender, add the juice of one lime and fresh ginger to taste. Blend everything until it is fairly smooth. Add a little water to make the mixture more fluid.

Keep the mixture in the fridge. Soak the couscous in an equal amount of lukewarm water and leave it to stand for 10/15 minutes. Grain the cous cous and add the honey and spreadable cheese.

Mix everything together and make little balls to roll in the pistachio grains. Place the truffles in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up. Cut an unripe banana into slices. Place the slices on baking paper and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 150°C for a good hour until the wafers are crispy.

Cooking times vary depending on the thickness of the slices. Top with the green smoothie, truffles, banana wafers, mint leaves and lime zest.
