Aperitif during the festive season?

The doorbell rings and your friends are about to arrive… but you haven’t prepared anything! Between your daily commitments and your work life, you’ve forgotten about the aperitif you organised to get together and spend a few hours with friends. Of course, for those who always like to be organised and not make a bad impression, this is the most recurrent nightmare! But there is a remedy for everything, and in this article you will discover how to prepare healthy and tasty finger food in just a few minutes.
The last-minute recipe is the egg-white omelette with Couscous Martino and peas : it is a tasty starter that can be put on the table with other appetizers in the mignon form to accompany cocktails or soft drinks.
As well as being an original recipe, it’s really easy to make: you only need a few ingredients, including egg whites and onion cream, to prepare a dish that will impress all your guests! You don’t need to be an expert in the kitchen because the steps are easy and you can cook it quickly in the oven.

Egg white omelette with Couscous of peas Martino
Read and find out what ingredients are needed for the recipe:
- 100 g of Martino pea couscous
- 100 ml water
- Onion cream
- 4 egg whites
- EVO oil
Bring to the boil pour 100 ml of water, 5 gr of salt and 100 gr of the Couscous Martino with peas; let it rest for a few minutes and shell it with a fork adding a drizzle of oil. In the same frying pan, add the onion cream and allow it to take on flavour over a high flame.
In a bowl, whip the egg whites with a whisk, add the Parmesan cheese and then the prepared couscous. Pour the mixture into silicone muffin cups and bake at 180 degrees for about twenty minutes. Take the mini omelettes out of the oven, it’s best to serve them straight away so they don’t risk slowly deflating.
